Miss Helotes Scholarship Pageant

The Miss Helotes Pageant crowned its first Queen in 1967. Young ladies from the Helotes area compete for a spot on the court and a chance to represent Helotes at the surrounding towns’ festivals and public appearances. The 2024 Miss Helotes Scholarship Pageant provides over $15,000 in scholarships to Miss Helotes and her Court. The Miss Helotes Scholarship Pageant process takes these young ladies through 10 workshops leading up to the pageant where they learn marketing, interview, public speaking, stage presence and more. They begin pageant morning with Personal Interview with the 5 judges and then move on to Pageant Night where they compete in Fashion, Evening Gown and Public Speaking. The Miss Helotes Court consists of Miss Helotes, Princess, Duchess, Miss Citizenship, Miss Congeniality and Miss Spirit.
